Deep Calm itself does not collect, store, or share any personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no trackers. The Android app shows a single advertisement when you open it (see "Advertising" below); the web version is completely ad-free, and sounds always work offline.
The Deep Calm Android app shows one advertisement when the app is opened, served by Google AdMob — and nothing after that, so nothing interrupts your sleep sounds. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as advertising identifiers, as described in Google's advertising policy and Google's privacy policy. In the European Economic Area and the UK you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can decline. We (the developer) do not receive or store any of this data.
All sounds are synthesized in real time on your device using the Web Audio engine — nothing is streamed or downloaded while you use the app.
Your saved mixes and volume settings are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing site data removes them.
